For Reeve

When it came to use of his phone, Vincent was very much like Cloud. He left it on, received messages and listened to or read them, but quite rarely responded. The few times he did respond tended to be if he deemed an actual answer to be required, or when from time to time Marlene got hold of Cloud or Tifa's phone and contacted him. Since it was so rare for her to do so, he always took it as a good thing to answer.

Which meant he had answered when she called him a few days after a message from Tifa asking him to come to a party for the girl, which he had ignored; his first mistake. Once answered, the girl had spent several minutes speaking to him, until suddenly springing the question of if he were coming to her party and making it quite impossible for him to really say no without seeming like a total heel, and so he agreed to go; his second mistake. And then he had made his third mistake - actually going.

At first, it really wouldn't have seemed to have been a bad idea. He knew everyone who was invited, how they acted around one another, and that Tifa would keep the whole group from going completely crazy over the course of the night, but he had not expected having to assist in breaking up one of Cloud and Barrett's squabbles when the woman had to leave for a short time to fetch something, and honestly he was glad that Reeve was invited and could help diffuse the situation with; especially when Yuffie and a very unhelpful Cid decided it would be a great idea to bet on who would win if they actually took to fistacuffs over whatever stupid thing it was this time which set them off.

All of this had left him rather done with company, and as soon as Tifa was back to be the adult in the situation, he'd snuck outside for some relative peace and quiet.

"And again." Vincent moves a little, shifting so he can lean on an elbow, watching Reeve with a bit of amusement. "I would assume being here a few days, you would have more than enough time to stare at me. Unless you are hoping for something more than staring."

"I'm not against being distracted. But I suppose we really should consider the whole celestial aspect of our aspirations tonight."

And yet there he was, rolling onto his side to look at Vincent too.

"So, stay on your back?" So monotone, yet there's a hinted smirk there on his face.

"You'd like me on my back, wouldn't you?" Reeve teased right back, but he does roll onto his back to look to the stars.

"Would I?" He hovers where he is for a moment, seeming to debate something inside his head, before shifting to give Reeve just a small kiss; seeming to ask if he wants to just watch stars or get a little more intimate.

The kiss absolutely gets Reeve turning back to him, pressing their lips together again. This was so good. Chilly air and stars out there and kissing. This was perfect.

Vincent hasn't even noticed the chilly air yet, used to it by now and also far more focused on his guest, who has answered the unspoken question very affirmatively. An affirmative that encourages Vincent to shift from laying on his side to a more sitting position as he deepens the kiss between them, hoping Reeve understands that he intends to use a sort of give and take system to decide how far this should go.

Meaning it is up to Reeve to press further, even by a fraction, or to remain here.

Yep, he pressed toward the attention, rolling to Vicent and his hand moved to curl into the other man's hair, holding him in the kiss. This was wonderful. This was beautiful. This was what he wanted.

With Reeve's obvious okay at proceeding, Vincent darts his tongue out quizzically, asking permission to bring the kiss even further along.

At the same time, he raises a bit more carefully, making sure Reeve can keep his hand curled in those locks even as Vincent uses his body to try and press the man back down so that he really will be on his back and partly below Vincent.

Permission, at every step, will be enthusiastically given. In this moment it's in the form of an open mouth and willingly rolling onto his back, trying to pull Vincent with him.

If he sighs in delight at the weight of the other man on his body, no one needs to know.

No one but Vincent, who smiles softly into the kiss, tongue seeking out Reeve's as his human hand moves to stroke his neck gently.

Reeve almost croons into the attention of that hand, at the stroke of that tongue. This was good, this was right. His hands left Vincent's hair to grab at Vincent's hips, to get the man to resettle on him.

At the very least, Vincent doesn't need to ask if his actions are working, not with the responses Reeve gives. And he's more than happy to try and keep getting those responses.

The request does make him have to remove his hand, allow him to use both to lift enough to straddle one of Reeve's legs and stay there, one hand keeping himself balanced as the other reaches down to work enough of Reeve's upper garment off to be able to slide his hand across his chest gently.

It isn't the chill of the air that has Reeve shivering. No, it's the best idea entirely, because he feels so good.

"Vincent," he whispers, shivering under the man's hands. That was good. Very good. "Keep me warm.'

Vincent smiles down at Reeve, a rare full smile, further removing the man's clothes.

"No foreplay?"

"You think foreplay isn't warming?" Reeve counters with amusement, leaning up so he can kiss the other's neck. "You haven't had good foreplay then."

Vincent shivers a little at the kiss, gently stroking Reeve's chest as he responds. "It seems you'll need to show me then."

"Show you, huh?" Reeve asks, his voice soft and smiling. "Are you suggesting you cannot do for yourself? That you don't know the steps in this dance?"

Well, he supposes he can fix that.

"Apparently not enough." He's not exactly been busy in that field, before or after Lucrecia. But at least Vincent does know enough, leaning down to kiss Reeve again and bringing his hands down to stroke the man's sides.

Well, Reeve was quite happy to teach, time and time again. He nips at Vincent's lips and pulls away from the kiss.

"Should you really be on top then? If you need guidance?"

"Wouldn't you be sad if I moved?" Vincent responds, licking his lips where it was nipped a moment ago. "Teach me in this position?"

"I would," Reeve agrees. So Vincent isn't very wrong.

"Well, they say people are warmer if they're skin to skin.

Vincent nods softly at the acknowledment, already knowing enough about Reeve to understand, and also to acknowledge he understands.

He takes a moment to stroke Reeve's chesg again, before removing his hands to start working on his own clothing a bit.

"You'll have to finish removing your own shirt."

"Hard to do when I'm pinned, dear," Reeve smiles, trying to squirm out of hte shirt. It isn't easy. It isn't easy at all. That's a lot of problem, but he's going to figure it out.

Vincent finds that complaint amusing for some reason, at least if his eyes are to be believed, and after a moment to get his own shirt open just enough to show his whole chest, he reaches down to help Reeve.
